Coco Song is an Italian luxury brand, brainchild of Elisio Tessano, who is an entrepreneur and designer from Friuli. Tessano has a passion for all things oriental, so six years ago, he decided to set up this label which makes a line of sunglasses and jewellery with certain design quirks.

Starting off its life as a brand that is sold in specially selected opticians, the company has become a recognized brand and became an official sponsor of Udine’s Far East Film Festival three years ago. Over the years, Coco Song has developed so much that, from 1 June, the company’s products will be distributed worldwide: in Europe, through a network of agents and in the rest of the world, by selected distributors.

When asked about the products they make, Managing Director Corrado Moro explained that their obsessive attention to detail and the quality of materials by Coco Song have made their products unique with the luxury market.

Although famous for their distinctive style, they do not just produce mere Asian-influenced gadgets: the company’s aim is to draw attention to the superior materials used and the quality of the handiwork of their craftsmen, who make every article by hand, combining high-quality Italian materials (titanium, acetate and special plastics) with typical Asian elements (silk, flowers and leaves, amongst others.)

Sponsoring FEFF has given them the opportunity to showcase their products internationally - this has been such a positive experience for the company that Coco Song is thinking about organizing an event to run alongside the festival, where they will present the new line of jewellery and leather products that they have been developing for some time.
